Introduction

Prepping
500gms Mutton (boneless)
1 tbsp Raw Papaya Paste
Salt (as required)
2 tsp Lemon Juice

For Marination
2 tbsp Curd
2 tbsp Mustard Oil
2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
1 Capsicum
1 Tomato
1 Onion

For Frying
Oil (for basting)

  2. for those, who don't have a clue where to get papaya: you can also use kiwi for that.
    I'm totally against mixing vegetables and meat on skewers. they have different cooking time. if it's lamb meat, which you want to be rare in the end, the veggies will just warm up. plus while the meat gets a nice char on high heat, the edges of the veggies burn.
    FYI: in the word "shashlik" both "sh" have the sound ʃ
