The cinnamon rolls have enough sugar. I would use fresh apples with cornstarch and cinnamon. Skip the cake, add pecans. Easier for those with diabetes. Fresh is way better. Thanks for the idea..

Grandes Cinnamon rolls, no, I tried to cut corners from homemade 😢 it was a disaster! I was disappointed

I tried it, I agree with many of you saying a traditional apple pie is the best. What intrigued me is the cinnamon roll crust. I thought why not make my own filling. The cinnamon rolls do not bake on the bottom. I did 45 minutes at 350, as that was the temperature on the cinnamon roll package.
