  1. I tried this recipe two hours ago, followed the ingredients as stated but why does my bun taste more like biscuits. Its looks hard but its when I tried it was soft, besides that It doubled in size. I forgot and kneaded the first time for 10 mins after I mixed all the ingredients. Then later I kneaded again for second proofing. It increased in size and later after I made the rolls it rises but when I baked it it went flat. What is wrong. Could u please advise. This is the fourth time baking bread but all was a disaster

  2. I am completely new making bread. I followed another recipe with olive oil, no butter, no eggs. The bread came okay but the flavor was not there; it was bland, insipid. I wonder why somebody would prefer oil instead of butter. And no eggs? why? because of calories maybe?
