I was looking and looking for the "best" chocolate roll cake recipe. It was my brother's only request for his birthday! I am happy to report that I made this one and it was Amazing!! ⚠️ The first time I made the cake I used a tea towel because I had seen others do that, it did not work, even with cocoa powder all over it, the cake stuck all over the towel, so the first cake my kids got to eat all the pieces. Thankfully it is simple to make so I quickly made another one! I used parchment paper and it came out perfect!! Definitely recommend this recipe! I also made it with a vanilla whipped cream as the filling! Both fillings were great! Thank you for sharing this recipe!!👍🏻👍🏻
When this recipe newly came out, years ago, my lil brother who was around 14 years old at that time, was highly interested in baking, and would turn to me to search up for the best recipe on YouTube. And to us, your channel have always been that top notch one which we blindly trust. My brother followed your recipe, and yes it was one of the most delicious cakes I've ever tasted in my life, and I kid you not. ❤️ Thank u my home cooking adventure, not just for your perfect recipes, but also for the visually and aesthetically pleasing videos, since years ago, when there wasn't many YouTube channels of that quality like yours. I was so obsessed with your channel, that even in free time I'll watch and re watch your videos, even if don't cook anything, and the best part about your videos was your background music. I'd literally search up those songs and listen to them. Oh, and my mother also once made chocolate biscuit cake using your recipe and it was superb❤️ I was a teenager back then, and now I am medical student in my 4th year in college. Fast forward to today, I still refer to your videos, cuz your measurements are accurate to the T❤️
When i add the melted chocolate to the whipped cream it melts and i need to refrigerate it for the whole thing to form stiff peaks again. Am i doing something wrong?

I like the kind where the cream filling is fresh. I find swiss rolls are best served after being in the fridge for at least half an hour… 😋

Mine sticked terribly to the paper, even with doing as you taught! Is there any other tip to not let it stick?
