  1. I subscribe to ATK and get Cooks country vids but I have never seen Grill next door or whatever her show is called. I feel cheated. I'd love to watch that. Morgan at the grill makes me happy somehow.

  2. Woof those look dry. No braise wrapped in foil? That sauce looks chunky, which is odd. Smoker recipes can be done in the oven too. Just add some liquid smoke. I'd add a lot more paprika to that rub to give the good red color, then bring the initial cook time down to 1.5 hours, then wrap in foil and braise for ~1.5 hours, check for tenderness (heath riles has a good method), then sauce heavily and cook uncovered for another 20 mins. Would improve this recipe dramatically IMO. Also, they didn't cover how to select ribs. Look for the thickest ones you can find, ideally with a small loin strip. The ones she has here appear to have all the loin trimmed off, which is not ideal. You can also look for thick back ribs aka baby back ribs, if they aren't too expensive.

  3. I'm sorry, but couldn't you just say, "if you're using Morton's, use x amount"? Or use weight instead of measurements for dry ingredients. Put the volume measurements on your website.
I love ATK, but this is a cheap ploy to market the website, which isn't free.

  4. My mom introduced me to liquid smoke back in my childhood learning to cook days. I’m wondering if it would be possible to do comparison reviews with different ones, maybe same food cooked with that being the only difference to see which brand gives best flavor, maybe? I think that would be interesting to see. 😊 Side note, I just made indoor bbq ribs not too long ago when unable to bbq outside. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of this episode, now.
