Born and raised in Carroll county Maryland right next to Baltimore. And I love imitation crab meat but our blue crab steamed in NOT OLD BAY but Jo spice will be the best seafood period

To me, real crab meat and imitation crab meat are two completely different things. Both are tasty and I'd eat both without hesitation, but theyre just different foods really.

Shred em up, combine em with cream cheese, green onion, soy sauce, mirin, put it in a wonton wrapper and deep fry
im glad i saw this because i hav a shellfish allergy but ive been considering trying imitation stuff. good to know its still in there.
its uses things that would usually get thrown out in the western world, its a good thing in my opinion and its tastes fine in a "lobster roll" or salad
