BBQ rubs are designed to flavor meats while creating a crusty surface as the meat cooks. The amount to apply is the amount that sticks. Pat dry meat before applying a meat rub, sprinkle over the entire surface and gently pat in place. If you do it right, it will become the bbq rub recipe!
This dry rub recipe is very versatile. You can use it on your ribs, your chicken your pork shoulders and even on your grilled vegetables. It is my go to run on many of my recipes. Find this simple BBQ dry rub recipe here:

You can't be serious with 1/2 cup of salt. That's way too much, sister. Yikes!!!
I had to tweak this with a full cup of brown sugar. I’m not a big salt flavored kinda guy.

Was ok but the skin on my smoked chicken was way too salty. We had to remove the skin. The meat was still salty but not as much . I'll try it with a couple of table spoons of salt instead. Hope that works
Excelente. Muchas gracias.
I'm hungry, but I'm supposed to store the rub for 30 days? On to the next recipe.
Hi Kristen, I want to share some bbq love with your subscribers, myself included. I used this dry rub recipe on chicken wings in my air fryer. You talk about some amazing flavor, boom! Wings were moist and the rub was on point. Just a heads up that the recipe calls for 4 table spoons of onion powder, but on the video you say to use 2 table spoons of onion powder. Either way, this rub is FANTASTIC!
I did this on lamb ribs and it was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much you are an absolute life saver.
Would this work on lamb
Watching here in philippines
Great video! I prefer grabbing rubs from http://www.TheRubStore.com – they have a great selection and save me the trip AND the markup at my local grill store.
Fuck it just use a whole cup of salt
Your eyelashes are dirty.
You should clean them before entering the kitchen area.
