One of the best comfort food!
Thank you very much for your recipe Maangchi ❤I do have a question: may I know why you don’t use an electronic rice cooker for cooking the rice but cook it on the stove in a sauce pan? 🙏
Love

Mmmmmmm.looks yummy 😍😍😍
Omg that looks delicious 😊
I had this jeyuk deopbap in a korean restaurant recently and it was simply amazingly delicious.
my family loved this! I didn't have pork belly on hand…only pork tenderloin. I sliced it as thin as possible…& also added 1 tbsp of mirin (b/c my kids like it on the sweeter side to balance the spice ha ha). I did have to cook the meat a bit longer b/c it wasn't p.belly but this was super easy and wonderful on taste! will be in my family's favorites now!
I cook this recipe today it was delicious not too sweet. 👍
최고예요 이 레시피대로 만들었더니 나도 chef!!!
Finally someone who doesn’t use a rice cooker to cook delicious rice. Don’t get me wrong, I own one, but it’s nice on a show to see that a cook has skills when they’re cooking rice the old fashion good old way.
❤️ Love and greetings from Berlin, Germany ❤️
Your so good at mincing. It’s so calming.

I’m so looking forward to making this! My area in Australia doesn’t have Korean green chilli peppers but I’ve read one of your recipes on your website saying that jalapeños are a good substitute so I’ll definitely go with that. 😁
Amazing
Im Korean and this dish is one of my favourite Korean Dishes. Love from Canada
Tried it today and it was really good. It was however too spicy for my family so I will try to tone it down with the chili next time. 10/10 would eat again
Thank you for the recipe! I was able to make this earlier and it was great! ♡

Thank you very much for making my life easier.😄
Hello Maangchi, the last time I wrote, I was making kimchi in Odessa, Ukraine, where I live. Wasn't easy getting the ingredients, but there's a fantastic market called Privoz, which has an Asian section and I managed to get hold of a big bag of tower bell chilli flakes, which made the most fantastic kimchi (following your wonderful recipe)! 🙂 With everything that is happening in Ukraine, cooking has become my release. It was always my passion, but recently it has become more important as a way of escaping. Thank you for your videos and your wonderful recipes! I managed to find pork shoulder yesterday and this recipe was a hit! My Ukrainian wife found it a little spicy (hehe!), but for me it really hit the spot! Thank you again and I hope to be able to cook more of your recipes in the future!
