As I mentioned before, I’m hooked on cooking with miso paste. I’m in love with it ❤️🔥🤣! This time, I made a bomb a$$ marinade for this beautiful American Wagyu tri-tip from @R-C Ranch TX Craft Meats This marinade works with any protein, including fish. I served it with a miso drizzle to take it to an even higher level of umami. This is one of those recipes you’re going to want to try. I know a beautiful tri-tip like this doesn’t really need much, but sometimes I just want to experiment with something different.
•2 tbsp miso paste •2 tbsp soy sauce •2 tbsp rice wine vinegar •1 tbsp @Melinda’s Hot Sauce Ghost Pepper Hot Honey •1 tbsp @melindasfoods Sriracha •1 tsp sesame oil •Enough water to reach your desired consistency
Instructions: 1. Add all marinade ingredients to a bowl and mix well. 2. Place the tri-tip in a vacuum bag and pour in the marinade. 3. Vacuum seal, then marinate for a minimum of 48 hours for maximum flavor. 4. When ready, remove from the bag, pat dry, and season. 5. Smoke at 225°F for about an hour, or until the internal temp reaches 120°F. 6. Sear over direct heat and remove when the internal temp reaches 130°F. 7. Add all miso drizzle ingredients to a bowl and mix. Transfer to a squeeze bottle for serving.
I'm trying to meal prep. Do you think I could vac seal the steam in the marinade, then freeze and pull out later? Would this work? Would it shorten the time until its bad? Would it not be able to marinate?
If you have to put all types of sh**t in the meat… means only one thing, that meat has no taste at all. Perhaps one day you travel to Uruguay or Argentina, we put only salt on the meat. No more is need
